The camping area is at the height of 9,500 feet above sea level. Moreover, the hill station is just one of the examples of the famous beauty Jammu and Kashmir possesses. The visually pleasant plains of the hilltop paired with an eagle’s eye look of the stunning Muzaffarabad city is simply magnificent. 

    Pir Chinasi is most often dwelled by devotees of Saint Shah Hussain Bukhari – his tomb is in Pir Chinasi. The optimal time to visit Pir Chinasi is between the months of June and September. Also, it is wise to carry your own camping gear.

    Fairy Meadows is regarded as one of the hidden gems of Pakistan. It showcases spectacular views of the Nanga Parbat Peak as it is located somewhat nearby the base camp of the Nanga Parbat. Also, Fairy Meadows is a well-known enticing location for any adventure-seeking, adrenaline-junkie visitor. The meadows are not everyone’s cup of tea, though. It is a fairly dangerous journey just to get to the base camp since the meadows are situated at an elevation of 10,800 feet above sea level. You can reach Fairy Meadows via a hike from Raikot Bridge, which is approximately 80 kilometres from Gilgit.

    Siri Paye is located at a fair distance of about 8 kilometres from Shogran. Siri Paye consists of two locations: Siri Lake and Paye Meadows. These two destinations are on a potholed hike up the mountain. Although the lake comes sooner, campers tend to go in the direction of the meadows, which are at the top. The meadow is approximately 9,900 feet above sea level. Similar to other areas of KPK, it is advised to visit the campsite during the months of July to September.  

     

    Camping at Paye Meadows is essentially very easy. It is almost a breeze compared to Fairy Meadows due to the fact that basic facilities are readily available. The only tricky part tends to be the weather as it, reportedly, changes very quickly. The bipolarity of the weather could be bad for your tent, so make sure the one your tent is reliable.

    Kund Malir is the most suitable option for camping – if you want to camp in Balochistan. It is a beach found next to the Makran Coastal Highly. It is located within the Hingol National Park. Since the elevation is merely 115 feet above sea level, it is also suitable for families with kids. It does have surrounding cliffs that look simply elegant against the beautiful backdrop of a sunset. The crystal blue waters, starry skies, and soft breezes – Kund Malir is a dream. It is located nearly 200 kilometres from Karachi.

     

    The weather in Kund Malir, Balochistan, is perfect for a trip between February to April or even September to November as the other months are too cold or too hot.

    Last but not least, Arang Kel. The beautiful campsite is located roughly 20 kilometres from Sharda in the Neelum Valley. The views and plains of the campsites are unmatched. It is a bit challenging to reach as compared to Kund Malir. This is due to its height of 7,800 feet and the tough route. There are breathtaking forests, meadows, hilltops and clear waterfalls in Arang Kel. 

     

    You can start your journey to Arang Kel in the small tourist town of Kel. Then, you can either hike to Arang Kel or take a chairlift over dusky forests.

     

    Several options are available for an overnight stay when you reach Arang Kel. These options consist of guesthouses, tents, and motels. Also, you can easily seek out basic necessities. However, it is better to carry your own campsite essentials.

    It is rather fair to state that 2021 was an awesome year for TV, movies, drama series, and the like. With covid-19 lockdowns, all we did was watch television and binge on our favorite shows like never before.

    2022 doesn’t look much different. Moreover, not only has the Pakistani media industry nailed its art to craft impeccable drama series in recent years, but the fact that we can witness diverse storylines is too good to miss.

    With that said, here’s a sneak peek of the 11 incredible drama series coming our way in 2022 with so many debuts and comebacks. Missing out on even one of them will give you a guilt trip, so behold and check these out.

    Jo Bachey Hain Sang Samait Lo

    Is it Fawad Khan’s comeback? Is this for real? Pakistan’s heartthrob celeb is making a comeback in the Pakistani media Industry through drama serials in 2022 and we simply cannot keep calm.

    Apparently, we last saw him on the screen in 2013 in ‘Numm’ and ‘Armaan’. However, who can forget his splendid performance in Humsafar alongside Mahira Khan? Here’s hoping Jo Bachey hain Sang Samait Lo by Farhat Ishtiaq is as breathtaking.

    Nonetheless, the rest of the cast is yet to be auditioned for the roles, but we are hearing Ayesha Omar may be a part of the project too. Fingers crossed, let’s wait for more news to come because I for sure am extremely excited for this drama series to air.

    Main Manto Nahi Hoon

    Can this drama get more star-studded than this? Interestingly, Hamayun Saeed, Maya Ali and Mehwish Hayat have joined hands for this upcoming drama series and the fans are over the moon.

    Directed by Nadeem Baig and written by the renowned Khalil ir Rehman, Main Manto Nahi Hoon is another Six Sigma Plus Production with the unchanged dream-team of Mere Paas Tum Ho (2019).

    Above all, Main Manto Nahi Hoon is an incredible romantic story that is not short of an emotional rollercoaster ride nor action and drama. However, all we know for sure is that Humayun Saeed and Maya Ali have scored the lead roles while Mehwish Hayat is bringing a new look for all her fans. 2022 is already looking good, right!

    Qismat

    Another much-awaited series will lighten up the screen in early 2022. Qismat’s storyline and plot have not yet been disclosed. However, what is great about Qismat is that we will see the beautiful Hira Mani act alongside Muneeb Butt and Noor Hassan Rizvi.

    Interestingly, the BTS, shooting and acting pictures are popping up on social media platforms which only hint towards the series not being far from airing on televisions.

    Dekh Tamasha-e-Roshni

    Dekh Tamasha-e-Roshni is a GEO TV production and everyone can watch it on the screens in 2022. Moreover, it is safe to state that GEO TV produces incredible drama series and next year won’t be any different.

    The cast is great and we can see how different and fresh the pairing is too. Hiba Ali will act alongside the renowned actor Ahsan Khan and one of the best upcoming actors in Pakistan, Shehzad Sheikh. On the other hand, you will also witness Farhan Ali Agha, Moomal Khalid, and Mujtaba Khalid playing important roles too.

    Unfortunately, we are unaware of the storyline, however are looking forward to the star-studded series.

    Sang e Mah

    Sang e Mah has to be the biggest drama series of 2022 for so many reasons. Firstly, Atif Aslam, the celebrated voice of Pakistan is debuting in this series. Will Atif Aslam act as well as he sings? I guess we will have to wait for Hilmand to make his debut on the television. At least we can be sure the songs from the series will be super.

    Secondly, everyone is familiar with Momina Duraid production and what blockbuster hits they create. Above all, the cast is faultless and the drama teasers reveal nothing but an incredibly intense storyline.

    In short, you will see Hania Amir, Kubra Khan, Atif Aslam, Nauman Ijaz, Omair Rana, Samiya Mumtaz, and Sania Saeed on the project. Interestingly, you will also see Zaviyar Noman Ijaz making his acting debut this year. As I said, this series is too good to miss.

    Mere Humsafar

    Indeed, pairing Farhan Saeed and Hania Amir as lead actors for Mere Humsafar is something we can cheer for in 2022. They both gel well together, look great and we have never seen them together on the screen.

    We hear the drama series is a powerful love story with various hurdles and family interventions before the duo can have their happy ending. Interestingly, the first look of the play reveals how intense it is. We have always seen Hania Amir in an independent, sharp and crisp role, but things are about to change as we see her transform into a vulnerable character.

    Ye Ishq Samajh na Aye

    Who doesn’t adore a good heart-touching romantic series? Keep an eye out on Ye Ishq Samajh na Aye to watch Shahroz Sabzwari and Syeda Tuba Anwar together. Syeda Tuba Anwar poured her heart out and mentioned in an interview with Dawn that “Sharoz is a great support, and they “instantly connected.”

    We are not sure which channel will showcase it but we are surely waiting for it eagerly.

    Dil Awaiz

    Apparently, Dil Awaiz is another awesome drama featuring Kinza Hashmi, Affan Waheed and Azfar Rahman with an underlining romantic theme. Interestingly, the drama shooting has taken place in a rural setting in Sindh but that is all we know yet. Madiha Shahid writes the story while Mazhar Moin is directing the series.

    This GEO TV series will air in 2022 and we are already enthralled by the gorgeous, vibrant Pakistani costumes, duppatas, and local jewelry. We can’t wait to watch the drama series.

    Kaala Doriya

    A perfect family-centered play, Kaala Doriya is full of emotions, drama, romance and betrayal. Interestingly, we will see Farhan Saeed and Sana Javed as the lead characters. The story is penned down by Samia Akram.

    Samia Akram is an incredible story and screenwriter and her renowned work include Suno Chanda, Chupke Chupke and Adhi Gawahi. With that said, we feel we are going to witness another notable drama series soon. However, Amin Iqbal mentioned how the drama’s story is different compared to Samia Akram’s previous work.

    Badzaat

    This 7th Sky Entertainment Production in collaboration with Geo TV is already gaining all the hype it can get. Indeed, starring Imran Ashraf and Urwa Hoccane together is something we all haven’t seen before.

    I mean, how can we ever forget Imran Ashraf nail ‘Bhola’ as a character, right? Let’s see what he has in store for Badzaat.

    Salauddin Ayubi

    If Turkish drama series rock your boat, we bet you can’t wait to see Pakistan and Turkey co-produce a series! Moreover, with no less than 3 seasons to be shot in Turkey with renowned actors from both countries.

    Interestingly, out of 6000 candidates auditioning for the series, only 60 were selected to showcase the life of the popular Islamic warrior, Sultan Salauddin Eyyubi. Auditions were held in Lahore and Karachi, out of which Ushnah Shah, Farhan Agha and Ayesha Omar made the cut. Unfortunately, Nadia Hussain did not make her mark for any role.

    The Turkish partner, Akli Films, and Pakistani partner, Ansari and Shah Films will join hands for this breathtaking joint venture never seen before.

    Loving the Pakistani media industry as a whole is one thing. Nonetheless, a few actors have a special place not only in our hearts but also on the screen because of their good looks and amazing acting skills. Ahsan Khan is effortlessly one of them. He is handsome, charismatic, he knows how to act and he surely knows how to dance. What more can we want from one guy?

    Ahsan Khan is an experienced TV actor, producer, TV host model and so much more in the Pakistani media industry. Most of you might not know, but Ahsan Khan was born in London. He started his career at the age of 17 from his series ‘Nikkah’. Interestingly, he stood ground and paved his way to the top through thick and thin.

    Dastaan 2010

    Dastaan is based on Razia Butt’s novel named Bano. Interestingly, the series is based on the pre-partition of the subcontinent while connecting the Independence of Pakistan as a nation. Hence, the drama is based from 1945 to 1956.

    Dastaan begins with the story of Salim and Surriya’s wedding. Characters played by Ahsan Khan and Sanam Baloch, the story reveals the various ups and downs the poor girl has to undergo due to the dramatic times in the subcontinent.

    Above all, the on-screen couple was a hit in 2010 while Ahsan Khan played his role wonderfully. The paper-thin mustache really suits him while he dresses in sherwanis and other desi attires.

    Mere Charagar 2011

    This series dates back to the days when Ayesha Khan was a part of the Pakistani media industry till she got married and parted ways for good. Casting Ahsan Khan, Ayesha Khan and Rubina Ashraf, the story is emotional, heart-touching, and perfect for women.

    Indeed, the story revolves around a girl named Abeeha Ansari who unfortunately gets trapped outside her house due to a stormy night. Consequently, her life alters forever when fingers start pointing towards her and weird allegations take over. She must prove her innocence to get her life back. Ahsan Khan also plays a pivotal role in the drama series and you guys should definitely watch it.

    Meri Ladli 2012

    If you are into romantic and emotional series, this one is for you. Meri Ladli is a sad story about a young girl named Arafah who decides to elope with her lover and get married. Nonetheless, unlike her happy expectations, her husband divorces her when she births a baby girl and acts immorally being under the influence of his mother. Consequently, Arafah returns home to her parents with a baby in her arms, but she has to face many more hardships and taunts before she can take a stand for herself and her daughter.

    Ahsan Khan plays the role of Tabraiz. He comes back to Pakistan somewhere in the middle of the story, only to find that Arafah’s daughter Eesha and Eesha’s cousin Rafia both develop feelings for him and things become difficult once again.

    I don’t want to give the story away! If you are looking for a series that is heart-touching, this is the one.

    Udaari 2016

    Udaari is one of its kind of drama series everyone should definitely watch. Not only is its cast amazing, but how everyone acts is really engaging. Above all, Ahsan Khan’s negative role truly captures everyone’s attention. He is terrifying, powerful, mighty and mean. Hence, witnessing him as a pedophile is a treat for sore eyes as we have never seen Ahsan Khan play the villain and Udaari is one exception you can’t miss.

    Moreover, Udaari is definitely the turning point of his acting career because he truly aced the on-screen presence. The story revolves around women from different backgrounds that struggle fighting family issues, societal issues, taboos, culture and so much more.

    Udaari stars Urwa Hoccane, Ahsan Khan, Bushra Ansari, Hina Altaf, Farhan Saeed, etc.

    Aangan 2018

    Surprisingly, Ahsan khan mentioned an interview that he played two different roles in Aangan and you should read more to find out about it! He also added that Aangan is so much more than just a period play about the partition of the subcontinent as it is filled with emotions, love and the importance of family.

    Ahsan Khan reveals that initially, the tale revolves around the love story of Sonya and Ahsan. Later, Khan plays the role of his son in the different generations, hence playing two roles in this series.

    This series is beautifully directed and above all, it also received the Adamji Literacy Award.

    Haasil 2018

    Haasil is a Geo TV production that features Ahsan Khan, Marwa Hoccane and Sonya Hussayn. When two friends from very different backgrounds turn into rivals, things are ought to become steamy, hot and revengeful.

    When spoken to Ahsan khan about the series, he revealed that his role is rather simple and laid back in comparison to his other dramas. He also added that it mostly revolves around the girls but he has a few major parts to play in it.

    Alif 2019

    Alif is an eye-opening drama series everyone should watch. Above all, this series is a combination of a great story, impeccable direction, and emotional acting skills by the entire cast. Moreover, the cast is too good to be true. Starring Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahsan Khan, Sajal Aly and others, Alif received the Lux Style award as well.

    Interestingly, the story and the plot touched the word ‘Alif’ as a metaphor for the perfect connection with God. While Qabl e Momin has an extremely materialistic approach towards life and things around him, on the other hand, Momina Sultan is the complete opposite. Things begin to twist when they cross paths and their lives alter forever.

    Not exactly a drama, but Bol Nights is the highlight of Ahsan Khan’s career. Interestingly, this entertaining Urdu and English-based show is fun when Ahsan Khan invites different Pakistani celebrities and interviews them in his own inimitable way.

    If you ask me my top favorite girly Pakistani dramas, Humsafar will always top the list. Indeed, not only because it is extremely romantic and adorable but also because it is realistic and I can see this happening in many households.

    Above all, who will disagree that Mahira Khan and Fawad Ali Khan make the best onscreen couple to date? I mean, weren’t they just the perfect pieces of a puzzle? Well, if you agree, you have to watch Humsafar because it is one of the best the Pakistani drama industry has come up with.

    Moreover, Qurutulain Baloch sang the OST beautifully and if you remember, it instantly became the talk of the town in 2011. Indeed, Humsafar is the perfect girly drama series you should watch if you still haven’t.

    Bin Roye

    Well, Mahira Khan ka drama, and romance na ho? Bin Roye is another hit girly series on our list because it is romantic, drama, tragedic, teary, and whatnot.

    The storyline develops around the lines of Saba (Mahira Khan) being head over heels for Irtiza (Humayun Saeed) since childhood. They do everything together and are best friends. However, when their cousin Saman comes in the picture, Irtiza asks her hand in marriage and everything changes.

    More tragedy follows later in the episodes and Bin Roye is too awesome to miss. The soundtracks are very catchy while the story itself is super romantic.

    Baandi

    Baandi is not your average chick flick as it features misery, mistreatment, and abuse. However, it makes the cut in our list today because it shows justice served right for a young girl.

    In short, the story revolves around a housemaid who is mistreated by her employers on a daily basis. However, one fine day, she crosses paths with a high-ranked police officer who falls in love with her. Hence things begin to change for Meeru. It surely is very interesting when you watch it from her perspective.

    Suno Chanda

    Another light, fun-filled drama series which is not entirely comedy but the underlining story is. Interestingly, the plot revolves around two cousins who marry because of their dying grandfather. Since they both don’t like each other, they keep finding ways to kill the idea but work on a try-and-fail basis.

    Above all, it features Farhan Saeed and Iqra Aziz and they both make an adorable onscreen couple.

    Deewangi

    Deewangi is a romantic drama. Apparently, it aired on Geo Tv and became the talk of the town. It is intense as it shows the life of a struggling bus hostess who needs to make ends meet. However, when she meets a man, her lifestyle begins to alter for the better. You will have to watch this awesome series to know more about it. It features Danish Taimoor, Hiba Bukhari and Ali Abbas.

    Aik Nayee Cinderella

    Who doesn’t love the classic Cinderella story? As a girl, growing up, Cinderella is one of the very few first stories we read, movies we watch and totally fall in love with the idea of a princess. Moreover, it will never get old and boring. Am I right?

    If you want to dive back into the beautiful and simple times of the 1920s, Downton Abbey is the show for you. For one, I am totally in love with this series. Interestingly, from its ideally detailed aesthetic straight to the well-worn personalities of all the characters, each aspect is well directed.

    Significantly, the story of the British historical drama series is based in the early 20th century. Moreover, the story mainly revolves around the Crawley Family residing in the Yorkshire Country Estate of Downton Abbey, their extended family members, and their faithful domestic staff.     It is safe to say that each character has something unique to offer on the screen and the bond that creates with them is spectacular.     Squid Games is the most mysterious TV series that is trending beyond imagination right now. Firstly, Squid Games does not have squids! Yes, it has games and loads of them. Moreover, one factor why the audience loves this show is because it highlights competitiveness, fear, courage, and the survival of the fittest and smartest.

    Apparently, the story revolves around a mysterious invitation sent to people in high debt to participate in a secret game to overcome their finances. Since they owe huge amounts of money and have none, most of them accept the invitation, only to find it is a life or death situation.

    Above all, 456 participants join the game to be precise. All the participants are locked in a secret facility on a faraway island without any outside social contact.     Interestingly, you will watch this series through the lens of a desperate and determined mother who will even climb the mountain without losing spirit.

    I started watching it, however, found it rather depressing and slow. However, if you are emotional and enjoy sad, slow, and serious shows, this is perfect for you.

    House of Secrets – The Burari Deaths

    Trigger warning: House of Secrets – The Burari Deaths has graphic elements and the story is based on homicide/ suicide. Unfortunately, the docu-series is based on true events.

    In particular, a happily residing family in Delhi of 11 is found hanging dead from their roof one fine day. Horrendous and shocking, isn’t it? Why would all family members do something so heinous? Has anyone else done this to them? The answers are unknown.

    Was this a shared psychosis or were they all part of a cult? This Netflix documentary is a must-watch if you enjoy crime-based series.

    Locke and Key

    Locke and Key is rather interesting and may I add, it is perfect for all age groups. The plot revolves around the father being accidentally killed by a gunshot only to make the remaining Locke members go live in the father’s ancestral home, Keyhouse.

    Surprisingly, the house is full of mysterious keys, magical powers, and creatures and all this may be linked to their father’s death. While the three siblings do absolutely everything to find each key, a dooming demon awakens and the battle begins.

    This series is fantastical, engaging, connecting, and fun for all the family members.

    Sex Life

    Searching for something lustful, steamy, and romantic? Sex Life is the answer to your prayers. Sarah Shahi, the horny, desperate yet sad, and stressed mother of two kids misses her carefree past. Moreover, she tries to connect with her husband but both of them are at different wavelengths.

    Her best friend is the bridge between her and her ex-boyfriend. Surprisingly, neither of them is over each other.     This soap opera is grand, colorful and emotional. Interestingly, this is a modernized reboot of two American families from the 1980s. Both, The Carringtons and the Colbys wrestle to win over the dynasty as well as the control and power it brings.

    This series shows the mesmerizing glitz and glam of the powerful and rich. Moreover, it also shows all under-the-table deals, dark secrets, manipulation, and more. I highly recommended it for women.

    The Witcher

    With an 8.2 IMDB rating and making its way to the top 10 in Pakistan, this fantasy-enriched series is perfect for men. The Witcher series is based on its novel and Henry Cavill is the main attraction. Interestingly, the series gives spirit and life to the scenes from the novel and it is not as close to reality.

    The mutated monster hunter, Gerald (witcher) finds it rather hard to fit in the crowd and learns how some people can be worse than beasts.
